Methodology
The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Supreme Council of Universities regulate the admission of American High School Diploma graduates into public, private, and national universities via the Tanzik coordination office (مكتب التنسيق). For university qualification, students must achieve a minimum qualifying score of 16 out of 36 in ACT 1 (covering English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science). The composite admission percentage is computed using the official Tanzik formula: 40% High School GPA (Grades 11 & 12) + 60% ACT 1 Equivalent Percentage. For competitive medical, dental, pharmacy, and engineering colleges, ACT 2 Subject Tests (Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) provide additional qualifying bonus scores.
